Checking Server Requirements
WordPress Requirements:
In order to proceed with the theme installation, ensure you have the latest version of WordPress (5.x+) installed on your self-hosted site.
If you are new to WordPress, it's recommended to familiarize yourself with it before starting. Below are helpful resources to get you started:
Theme Requirements:
The theme can work on almost any server, but we recommend the following server settings:
- PHP: Version 7.4 or greater (recommended version: 8.x)
- MySQL: Version 5.6 or greater
- upload_max_filesize: 16 MB or greater
- memory_limit: 64MB or greater (recommended: 128M or 256M)
- max_input_vars: Minimum value: 2000 (recommended: 10000)
Server Requirements:
There are several methods to check server requirements. One common method is using the WP-ServerInfo plugin.
This plugin allows you to easily check most server configurations. Install it like any other WordPress plugin and follow these steps:
- From your WordPress dashboard, go to Dashboard > WP-ServerInfo. It will display general information about your server.
- To view detailed server information, click on Display PHP Information and Display MySQL Information.
