Please note that the lightbox functionality you're referring to is part of Elementor's default feature, not the theme itself. Elementor’s lightbox only supports individual image popups, and unfortunately does not include scrolling or navigation between images. You can find more details here: https://elementor.com/help/lightbox/
If you would like to enable image scrolling, we recommend using the theme’s gallery post format, which includes built-in image navigation at the top. You can learn how to create a gallery post by following this guide: https://help.themeruby.com/foxiz/how-to-create-a-gallery-post/
That's not true — Elementor's default lightbox does support galleries; it's even shown on their website. For some reason, it doesn't work with the Foxiz theme.
Thank you for your message and for bringing this to our attention.
Yes, the lightbox feature is supported, but only when using Elementor’s default Gallery widget. This means that to enable this functionality, the single post page needs to be built using Elementor.
Please try editing your post by clicking "Edit with Elementor", then search for the Gallery widget (as shown in the attached screenshot). By using this widget, you’ll be able to activate the lightbox effect for your images.
We hope this clears things up for you. Feel free to reach out if you have any further questions.
Thank you for your feedback, and we’re sorry for the inconvenience.
This setup is currently required to enable Elementor’s lightbox feature with galleries. However, we’ve shared your request with our development team to consider its feasibility in future updates.
Hi, is it possible to make the lightbox scroll through images in WordPress’s default galleries?

I understand :(
I have more than 8,000 posts from the old theme and I don’t feel like manually converting all the galleries to the Foxiz version.
