I am reaching out because, in the previous theme, the user menu (visible after login) included a “Dashboard” item, alongside the “Log Out” option. This “Dashboard” link is crucially required by our client, as it allows users to access the backend in a professional and intuitive way — directly from the menu — instead of being redirected to /wp-adminautomatically or having to navigate manually.
As shown in the attached screenshots, the “Dashboard” link is no longer present with the new theme. This is causing issues for the client, who is urgently requesting its restoration.
Could you please assist me in restoring this menu item in the new theme? The client is pressing for this, so your help is greatly appreciated.
The Dashboard menu item is a default feature in WordPress and should automatically appear when an administrator logs in. If it is not visible, it is likely that a plugin is interfering with its display.
We recommend checking your installed plugins by temporarily deactivating them one at a time. After disabling each plugin, please log in again to see if the Dashboard item reappears. This process will help identify whether a specific plugin is causing the issue.
Please let us know if you need further assistance.
solved the issue by adding a new profile menu with functionalities from bbPress. I then selected it from your dedicated menu and added it, which allowed me to resolve the problem.
I truly thank you for your excellent and efficient support service, and I want to sincerely compliment you on the theme in question — it is really beautiful!
