I’ve noticed an issue regarding the article view count tracking on our website. You can check the homepage at https://www.unaparolaperte.org/ — specifically the view count shown on the first article.
Here’s what’s happening:
When I access the article from a mobile device, the view count increases with each visit.
However, when I access the same article from a desktop browser, the view count does not increase and remains static.
Can you help me understand why this discrepancy is occurring between mobile and desktop devices?
Additionally, I’d like to know:
Where can I manually edit or adjust the view count for individual articles?
Many of our articles are imported from other portals, and their view count always starts from zero. Is there a way to import or set a predefined view count when publishing these articles?
Looking forward to your assistance. Thank you in advance for your support!
The issue with the view count not updating on desktop devices is most likely related to browser caching. We recommend clearing your browser cache and checking the article again using an incognito/private browsing window or a completely different device to confirm the behavior.
Regarding your question about manually editing the view count for individual articles, you can easily do this by following these steps:
Go to the specific post you want to edit.
Click on Edit Post.
On the right-hand side, scroll down to the section labeled Post Views.
Click on the current number and enter your desired value.
This allows you to simulate or adjust the view count as needed, especially useful for articles imported from other sources.
Please let us know if you need further assistance.

I have to thank you once again.
I managed to solve the issue and also found where to edit the view count.
The only thing is that clearing the browser cache didn’t resolve the real-time update issue, as the problem persisted.
However, by switching to a different theme style — one of yours — it started working properly.
Now everything is functioning as expected.
Hi,
Thank you for the update.
If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Best regards,
Thanks!
